Kristin Walker, M. Ed. 

Principal

Ms. Walker brings over 12 years of Florida education experience, including roles as classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal, with a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. She believes every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and challenged.

Louise Mentzer

K/1st Teacher

Mrs. Mentzer is a seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record of student achievement. Originally from Washington, D.C., she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the McIntosh Area School community.

Candace Stephens

Administrative Assistant

Ms. Stephens is a fifth-generation Marion County native who has been keeping the front office running smoothly at McIntosh Area School since 2017. Her deep community roots and dedication make her an invaluable resource for families and staff alike.

Cydney Lane

Paraprofessional

Miss Lane is a sixth-generation Marion County native and second-year paraprofessional at McIntosh Area School, supporting teachers and helping students stay on track in the classroom. She is currently pursuing her cosmetology certification while completing her second year on staff.

Sarah Howell

2nd/3rd Teacher

Ms. Howell is a Florida native with an A.A. in Elementary Education, a Bachelor's in Human Services, and a minor in Psychology and History, she is also working toward her Master's degree and brings a unique depth of knowledge to her work with students.

Shiva Sater

Paraprofessional

​Shiva earned their paraprofessional certification straight out of high school and has spent over two years providing instructional support and collaborating with teachers to create engaging learning experiences.

Kevin Greenberg

4th/5th Teacher

Mr. Greenberg brings over three decades of military experience and international perspective to his first year of teaching, holding a degree from Keiser University. He is dedicated to challenging students across all subjects and helping them discover a love of learning
