OUR SCHOOL

Welcome to McIntosh Area School!

At McIntosh Area School, we’re proud to serve students in VPK through 5th grade in a warm, family-like environment where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to thrive. As a small public charter school, we combine high academic expectations with a nurturing atmosphere that helps students develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our dedicated teachers focus on the whole child — fostering academic growth, creativity, and strong character through hands-on learning and meaningful connections. At MAS, we’re more than a school — we’re a community where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

Principal's Message

Welcome to McIntosh Area School! I’m so proud to lead a school where learning feels personal, meaningful, and full of discovery. Our team is committed to helping each child grow at their own pace while building the skills and confidence they’ll carry for life. Every day, we work to create a setting where students feel cared for, supported, and inspired to do their best.

At MAS, education is more than academics — it’s about nurturing curiosity, kindness, and a love of learning that lasts well beyond the classroom. I’m grateful to our dedicated staff, supportive families, and amazing students who make this such a special place to learn and grow.
