McIntosh Area School is a public charter school built with a vision of recreating the community school that existed in McIntosh from the 1870s to 1948.
McIntosh currently has 77 students enrolled in Kindergarten through fifth grade. The school partners with several community groups and individuals to provide classroom support and hands on experiences with learning opportunities.
We believe every child can learn and it is our job to figure out the best teaching approaches to help each child succeed.
